I like you lesson plan. Just a suggestion that you can be more specific about what you pre- assessment is all about. I wish I was teaching math all the time!
Hi Stanley, I really like how you identified each Learning Event by putting the T, A and M next to each event. I might have to do the same. Also, I agree with Katie, in your Pre-Assessment where you can be a little more specific on what kind of assessment you will use to check’s student’s prior knowledge (draw a picture, answer questions orally/written, multiple choice…). Hope that helps, otherwise great job on Stage 3.
Looks great! I was thinking...and I know this might be hard with math but it might be good to involve some kind of collaboration in the preassessment or possibly a discussion of examples and non examples?. Just some thoughts since the text mentioned examples and non examples, p.26.
